London, Parliament Street 1908

More about this scene
Here Parliament Street runs into the spacious thoroughfare of Whitehall which rushes onwards to join Trafalgar Square. On the extreme left is the diminutive gabled roof of the Horse Guards. Whitehall is the traditional home of the offices of goverment and here are the Treasury, the Home Office, the Privy Council and, of course, the entrance to Downing Street.
