Here we see the west front of the abbey, with a lonely horse-bus passing the Crimean memorial. To the left we can see St Margaret's Church, and on the right are the offices erected in 1854 over the entrance to Dean's Yard. The architect was Sir George Gilbert Scott, who was to design the monument.
