More about this scene
In medieval times the Palmer's Guild was the most powerful guild in Ludlow, but it was dissolved in the 16th century. Its assets were transferred to the town by charter in 1551. The appointment of a public preacher was paid from these funds, and this house was built in 1611 to house the town's Preacher.
