Maidenhead, View From Bridge 1904

More about this scene
We are looking along Bridge Road towards Maidenhead. There is now a very busy roundabout at the junction with Ray Mead Road, which leads to Cookham. On the right is the creeper-clad Bridge House, long gone, its site now occupied by a large Texaco garage. The trees in the distance screen the remaining grounds of Ray Lodge, as yet undeveloped in 1904.
