Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

A view of the 19th century colonnade at the Market Buildings in Earl Street. This was built in 1825. To the south is the oldest nonconformist chapel in Maidstone, the Unitarian Church of 1736, where William Hazlitt's father was minister from 1770 to 1780. It is proudly emblazoned with a dated weathervane. The adjacent corn exchange dates from 1835 and is now part of the Hazlitt Theatre Complex.

Happy Days
I lived at Bearstead and i attended Vintners park boys school, I remember boating on the Medway my friends and i used to go to the granada theatre to see all the big stars of that era, spent many happy hours in moat park, a truly fantastic place to live such happy days, Alwyn Oldfield

Maidstone Invicta Barrack Old Entrance On Sandling Road
I was born in 1970 and have lived in Maidstone all my life. When I was much younger I remember you could drive along Sandling Road and see soldiers carrying weapons, guarding the entrance to the Royal Engineers Invicta Barracks. This was before the dual carriageway was built and the entrance to the barracks was moved. You can no longer see the entrance when you drive by. ...see more

Maidstone
I was born in Maidstone 19 Hardy Street. Went to St Paul's School. I started at Northborough School.The house was converted into flats.at the same time my mum had twins.so had to move out .And moved to Milton Street. So went to Westborough School.We then moved to Shepway estate Middlesex rd .then went to Mangravite School .I then went to the new Senacre Secondry School.But it was not finished .So we had to catch a bus ...see more

Memory Of Maidstone Zoo
I visited Maidstone Zoo as a child and I think it was during the 2nd world war. I remember the railway track along the side of the driveway but no trains were running. My most vivid memory, and I have never been sure if this is real or remembered from somewhere else and it is of standing on a bridge over a railway line and seeing a train loaded with what looked like bombs. Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
