Caption for Mullion, Village 1904: Mullion takes its name from St Melaine, the 6th- century Bishop of Rennes, who excommunicated two British priests who went to preach on his patch. St Mellion, at the other end of the county, is also named after him.

Memories of Mullion

My parents, Dot and Reg Poynter, bought the Mounts Bay in about 1948 and turned it into a hotel where we lived as a family until 1960.
