This is a brick tower mill with four patent sails and winded by a fantail. The sail frames are empty, the shutters are removed. Also note the staging around the cap, but not on the tower; the sails were low enough to work on them from ground level. The mill was built in 1827 and last worked by wind in 1930. The mill is conserved, but is internally incomplete; it is privately owned and open to visitors.
