Hi my name is John I live in luton. It must be CCA.1965 /1966 I and my friend met two lovely young ladies one named Viv and the other named Veronica- she was from Wood Green. Viv lived in Woodberry Crescent. Both would now be in their late 60's. Almost 53 years ago. Be great to say hello and say hey i not forgotten you. Anyone show some long on it would be appreciated.
I was born in Muswell Hill in 1960 and lived in Hampden Road. I went to Nursery and Primary School at Hollickwood School in Sydney Road. Spent many happy hours as I grew up sampling all the different ice cream flavours in Maude's Ice Cream parlour nearby! I was so lucky to have landed in Muswell Hill to take up residence with a family of three headed by their matriarch, Cecelia in 1980. She regularly took in students of all kinds to live in the house during their courses. My course included an internship with a Member of Parliament (David Gilroy-Bevan of Sutton-Coldfield) as a research assistant and classes at Birkbeck College. The ...see more
I can remember visiting my uncle and auntie in Muswell Hill. They used to run the fish and chip shop, which (I think) was in Colney Hatch Lane. We would spend the afternoon up at Alexandra Palace. I can recall a large area of open ground just across the road from the fish and chip shop.
