Richmond, Messum's Boatyard 1899

More about this scene
As we approach Richmond, this view from the west bank looks towards the Petersham Road across to the former Messum's Boatyard. All survives, including the terrace of boathouses and the central building, now reduced to two storeys by the removal of the weatherboarded upper storey; it is now the Richmond Canoe Club. The gabled Three Pigeons to its right is now derelict.
