Dawlish, Blenheim Hotel And Promenade 1925

More about this scene
This is 'new' Dawlish, built after a replacement sea wall had allowed the shoreside area to be reclaimed from the sea. The sweep of the sandy bay and the railway along the shore are clearly visible here. The Blenheim Hotel, shown in the centre, is now converted to holiday flats: a sign of the times.
