A Memory of Ardwick.

Hi i am pauline margaret coleman. i used to live in ardwick in legh place until the were demolished. i move to glossop for 40 years but i now live in cleveleys..i used to go to ardwick secondary girls school in the early fifties..it would be so lovely if anybody remembers me, please get in touch..i remember diane rigby, pauline wood, sandra maloy and sylvia bowker..as time went on i used to goto the devenshire public house

Hi, my name is Ray Broome and I was born in 1946 in Ross Street Ardwick. My wife Christine ( nee Smith lived in Richmond Street ( continuation of Tiverton Street towards the Apollo ) and we married at St Matthews Church. Chris remembers Diane Rigby , Pauline Wood and Sylvia Bowker. She also went to Ardwick sec mod. What year were you in?

Hi Ray,
Forgive my intrusion into comment but I lived on Richmond Street with my family during the Fifties until we left in 1965. The nee name of your wife rang a bit of a bell with me, but was her dad Mr Ken Smith of Richmond Street?
