I have just visited my great aunties house and was very interested to find a photo on the wall of this house with a note attached - it appears to have been the family home of my great Uncle Joe's parents. Would anyone know how I would find more information about it - like the years they lived there etc

Hi Louise, I believe my great great grandad James Whittaker owned Broadclough Hall in the 1800's. I visited the historical society in Bacup and a lady there named Wendy was very knowledgeable and helpful. In a few months I'll get my mums genealogy records and know more. Let me know if you'd like me to see if there's a connection to your great uncle Joe.
