Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

A Memory of Belper.
well going back my gran looked after my self and my brother but as she had to work there was no one to look after us so we was put into childrens home my brother went to another home as there was no room for both of us the name of it was furnslope a lovely big house that was very clean with kids well behaved i remember the steps to front door that was very big thy called me janet as there was 3 by the same name so one was tina one was christine then me janet as my name was christina i thought it should be me but never mind i remember the nice tiles on the floor the big stair case that wound round to the bed rooms the lovey big dinning room and a play room with games and a tv room but mostly went on at tea time well after tea for childrens tv i remember pop used to sit on a comfy chair the rest were we could and watched th after we all had jobs to do i wasnt aloted one yet but i soon would be as every one was changed round at weekends i liked to turn the bed sheets down so thy look tidy for kids to get in others would do washing and another to drying the 2 would clean all shoes one would put on the other shined then some one would set tables knife forks spoon fork at top for desert some would tidythe games room and tv room more later christina
