Beltinge

A Memory of Beltinge.

I grew up in Beltinge when my father owned the Miramar, which was run very much like a family home. Even some of the visitors would help out when they came to stay.
Now I am searching for what the gardens looked like before the landslide which was a year before my late father bought the hotel, but was allso stationed there during World War 2.

Hi Catherine, do you have any memory of Barnes Wallis, inventor of the bouncing bomb, staying at the Miramar during WW2 when the bombs were being tested? Best wishes, Eddie Newall
