More about this scene
Here we see a quiet summer scene in the valley bottom, where the Wadebridge road crosses the River Camel at the foot of a long descent from Bodmin. The mill is just visible beyond the bridge on the left. The bridge, hardly visible, was rebuilt after being destroyed in a flood in 1847.
