School Reply, Lesley
A Memory of Bradford-on-Tone.
Hi Lesley, How interesting to hear from you. I was born November 6 1950. My mum who lives with me is 91. She says I would have started at the school in Sept 1955, so we never crossed paths. I guess, Mrs Richards was teaching there for quite a while - at least 11 years. I think I was only in the big room less than a year. I did not like the hot meal – cabbage or something. I went back to England and visited Bradford, as an adult, for the first time in maybe 1976. The school was already a home. But the iron railing and wall looked the same. Have been back since with my younger sister. Yes it all looked very small. The lanes and the distances.
Lesley, could not reply to email.
