Happy Days

A Memory of Bramhall.

My name was Angela Noble (now Driver). I lived in Bramhall from 1951 to 1958.i went to Pownall Green School and then on to Cheadle County Grammar. I was School Captain in my final year at Primary School and also captain of the netball team. The other players I remember were Jackie Stannion , Valerie Bullfield, Jackie Chappell, Vonnie Thompson, Pamela Myers, and Annette but can't remember her surname. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. We had swimming lessons at Bramhall Baths which I loved. I spent a lot of time on my bike cycling round (much quieter) roads. I had five brothers and sisters and we lived in Ogden Road. Bramhall was a lovely village to grow up in. My best friend was Jackie Stannion . We both left the village but did keep in touch for a while. I would love to contact her again. Also Valerie Bullfield came to stay with me after I left Bramhall and would also love to hear from her.
