Hi, I lived in brigg from 1958 till about 1963 we lived down Mill lane, I used to help out on leanings farm went to school with his son brigg secondary modern had lots of fun there enjoyed the cross country runs and all the sports enjoyed going to the cinema and brigg fair. Learnt to swim in the river ancolme we used to camp on the river bank as boys. Remember all the farm jobs worst was getting the new born calves in the mother would chase us and try to hit us also feeding them with bucket they had hard teeth still enjoyed it on the farm Leanings Caravan Site. Mr Derick Smith.
Please can anyone help me with any information they may have regarding the school in Bigby Street Brigg {known now as The Exchange) My Father attended this school in approx. 1909/10 Miss Torrense was the headmistress/teacher.
