I was a pupil at Childer Thornton from 1967 to1974. We lived on Welsh Rd and used to walk to school up Blackboards lane. Always remember Ma Duke, who was the one of the Dinner Ladies, along with Mrs Murray and Mrs Matthews. Mr Roberts was the Headmaster. It was a great school, I had many friends but sadly had to move away after my parents died.
I attended the school from 1954 to 1960 and Mr. Williams was the headmaster. I lived on Rivacre Road, Hooton Park and often walked down New School Lane. My name is Jonathon Lloyd and I am living in Canada now but visit the UK annually.
