More about this scene
We are a little further north than view C105008; we can see the BP petrol pumps of Overton's Garage with the parade of shops beyond the Crossways. The shop with the Hovis sign is the Crossways Churt shop, which includes the village post office, while Phippards on the right is still a newsagent and confectioner (now Churt News). Next door, Smith's the chemists is now an Indian restaurant.
