Moorside Secondary School

A Memory of Consett.

Moorside Community Technology College is scheduled for closure in December of this year (2011) as we move to The Consett Academy. We are looking for memories of the school from its building in 1959 through the years and would be grateful for any stories / memories from members.

I attended Moorside school in September 1959. I believe I was the first student to attend as I lived in 79 Dunelm Road Moorside.

I lived opposite the opening of the school at number 79 Dunelm Road. I attended the school on the opening day in September 1959. My email address is t42.party@hotmail.com.
