I was Jenny Langridge and was at CCS from 1959 onwards. It was the time we were raising money for the swimming pool but I never got to swm it as it was completed when I had left. Another memory was a camping trip to Dieppe, a good time was had by all !! I was friends with Maureen Bedwell and Ann Senior and would love to know where they are now plus anyone who remembers me.
Better late than never, but I have only recently been a member of FF.

I was at CCSS back in 1960 and had Mr. Dunn for Biology I seem to remember. He was also the coach for the school rugby team of which I was a member for a short time. I do remember scoring a try, and he said it was one of the best he had seen. I think he said that to keep me on the team, but I did not like the game and left shortly thereafter. I was a soccer and tennis player.

I used to live over the Book Club (Booksellers) in a flat with my parents and sister.

I still have a good school friend in Crowborough, and I get over to see him whenever time permits. I moved to Canada in 1974, spent about nine years in Asia and now live in Texas, USA.

For Jenny, I helped build the pool and used to look after it. Never did I think I would own a pool one day. Was Pennington the headmaster when you went to the school? Mr. Lee was there who taught English.
Mr Lee was my tutor and taught me either metalwork or woodwork (that was how much I paid attention!), he called me diffident. And the name Pennington as Head certainly rings a bell, he smacked the back of my legs with a cane of some kind, and I hardly felt it. A symbolic punishment i think.
