Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Hard Times

A Memory of Dedisham.

Like many others here I can recall the quite abusive treatment at Dedisham. Two particular infamous traditions which haunt me, are the situations where a child would wet the bed. This would result in immediate immersion of the kid in a (very) cold water bath.

Secondly, I recall the frequent locking-up of 'naughty' boys on a huge cupboard.

I do remember Neddy the donkey.... I was there I guess 1950.

That sound dreadful, I wasn't there but I wonder if you remember a cellar that was reached from inside the house and if so where was the way down to it. Thank you
