More about this scene

Shepherd's Crag towers through the trees over the Victorian Gothic buildings of the Lodore Hotel at the southern end of Derwent Water. Just behind the hotel, also in the trees, are the twin cascades of Lodore Falls, a popular and spectacular sight for visitors in Victorian days.
