“As old age comes on I find looking at times gone by interesting , it does not seem to be something we take interest in when growing up, as the old story ask your relatives question about their life. Happy Christmas, keep the photos coming”

“Thank you for the superb job you made of the three black and white mounted prints of Shepton Mallet. I am really delighted with them. I am amazed at the amount of detail in the prints. I am also pleased with the catalogue you sent. All well packed”
“I have just viewed many beautiful online pictures of old Rochdale. My memories only go back to the 1960's when I started work there but my mother shared her memories of days back to the 1920's or so. What a town to be proud of in the old days and what proud people Rochdalians were. I wish the same could be said of the town nowadays. So sad what has happened. Thank you so much for the marvellous pictures that have both made me smile and brought a tear or two. God bless you”

“ I was just searching for a photograph of a shop that my Grandfather and Father ran at 7 Bridge Street, Wye. Great to find one. My family ran the paper shop from 1962 until I think the Kettles took over. I can't be sure of the end date as both my Grandfather and father have now passed. I can remember living there as a young boy (from age of 4). I also remember the shop being flooded when the river broke it banks. I thought I would just share this with you. I have been back a number of times since and it is great to find your site”

“Just a little note to thank you for the beautiful picture of Bourne in Lincolnshire. It reminds me of, I believe, one of the most beautiful counties in the country. Many thanks once again”

“Please accept my heartfelt thanks for dealing so efficiently with my pre-Christmas order and its complications. The prints arrived safely in good time and have proved to be excellent presents. Two octogenarian parents are normally very difficult to buy for at Christmas, but they are highly appreciative of the quality of the picturs and find the subject matter evocative of their childhood days. Thank you again”
