Eastbourne, The Lansdowne Private Hotel c.1955
Photo ref:

More about this scene
Lansdowne Terrace, a long Italianate terrace facing the Wish Tower, was built in the 1860s with its centre spanned by a wide triangular pediment; it was soon mostly colonised by the Lansdowne Private Hotel. The rendered range with its straight parapet is in marked contrast to the much more ornate Grand Hotel to its left.
