Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

More about this scene

The name Fulwood comes from the Old English and means 'dirty or foul wood'. Here we see the main road leading north from Preston and the Methodist Church. The Harris Orphanage was built out here in 1888 so that the children could benefit from the fresh country air away from the grimy town.

Hi, is there anyone out there that remembers the Orphanage? I had some of the best years of my life there. It was run by a Mr Howarth and his wife, and there were seven houses for the boys and the same for the girls. I lived at no 7 and our house parents were Mr and Mrs Perkins.
