Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Gala Academy
A Memory of Galashiels.
I attended the Academy from Primary 1 until senior 6th year starting in the wing of the school for primary pupils in Melrose Road and then latterly in the Scott Park. I have the old school magazines from that time but unfortunately two have been lost over the years.
My younger brother was in the last primary class in the school in Melrose Road before the Primary moved to the Langlee school. I can recall three of the teachers in primary as well as most of the secondary teachers. I do recall school lunches as we travelled from Earlston for school so could not go home for lunch like the locals. Also have two photos of the primary class in different years but sadly there are no teachers in either of them. The building in the Scott park has not lasted as well as the Melrose Road building which was still standing on my last visit to the town.
