A Memory of Gwytherin.
I remember going to Gwytherin a few times when I was a little girl with my parents and gran in the 1950's. My gran's uncle, Thomas Edwards, used to run the Red Lion a very long time ago. After that his daughters, Kitty and Jinny had it. I never met them, but I remember the village overlooked by the church and graveyard seemed very forbidding at the time. Does anyone have any history of the Red Lion? My great grandparents and great, great grandparents are buried in St. Tudnos churchyard on Great Orme, Llandudno. My great uncle, Thomas Edwards, and his family are buried in the churchyard at Gwytherin. I would be very grateful for any information on them or the history in the village. Thank you, Ann Bradley.
