Hiya David.... I was forced to go to the Quarles building you refer to here which was for some unknown reason classed to as a "school". Where anyone got that idea from beats me. A complete waste of 4 years of my life.
I think I remember the name Schuler at this building .. did you have a brother? Perhaps, Peter? Were you both good swimmers?

Yes, my brother is Perry, and were both quite good swimmers.
He resides in Gidea Park whilst I moved to Scotland and live just outside Edinburgh

I went to Bosworth Infant and Primary School. Probably 1963 to 1968. I have nothing but happy memories of the school. The teachers fired in me a passion for the English Language and in reading. We lived in Daventry Road. My Aunt, Mrs. E. Bullock was a dinner lady at the school.
I now live in New South Wales Australia. I emigrated with my family to Adelaide Australia in 1968.

Hi,I too went to Bosworth Primary school from '62 to 64 , after which we moved from Hilldene Ave to Taunton Road and I went to Ingrebourne Junior. I don't remember anything bad about it except for one incident of sitting next to a boy sharing a book during lessons and in it was a picture of two very fat sheep that I thought hilarious and the boy kept flicking the page back to it several times sending g me into fits of illicit giggles. I was warned twice to no avail so then was ordered to stand up and hold my hand out to get the ruler. I was so terrified the teacher took pity and told me to sit back down,but I've never forgotten the shame of it. I was 7. Certainly stopped the giggles 😃
