A Life So Lost From So Long Ago
A Memory of Harworth.
I was born in worksop but my early life was spent in harworth, my name is Adrian Cutts (Godley originally). my father and the rest of his large family were from the Tickhill and Harworth areas. my dad unfortunately passed when i was 5 in 1971 during his employ at the glass bulbs factory (not at work or work related), His name was John Wilfred (wilf) Godley. the few people i can remember from my dads family were my aunt Hettie Jackson and my dads cousins family Ken and Margaret Godley. As my mam moved to be closer to her parents and siblings i lost touch with all of my dads side of the family until recently when i gained contact with Margaret and her daughter (Ken and Hettie have also now both passed) Does anybody know of any members of the Godley family from this area or indeed Hetties children, or know of Wilf himself, maybe from working with him at the glass bulbs. i would love to be able to piece together some more of my history
