Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Looking Fo Nick Martin
In 1969 my friend Nick Martin, who lived in Hawkhurst, and I, hitch-hiked across to the Taj Mahal in India. Sadly I have lost touch with Nick and I wonder whether any of your contributors may be able to help us get back in contact again. John Hague

Growing Up In Hawkhurst
I was born in Hawkhurst in 1941 went to school there from January 1947 until I got married my maiden name was Jsephine Mary HILLMAN. Ihave been married to Roger. Maynard for 57 years does anyone remember me?

Celebrating V E Day
On this 70th Anniversary of V E day, I remember going to the Victoria Hall with my family, friends and neighbours for a lively celebration. This was my first introduction to the Hokey Cokey, Knees up Mother Brown and the Palais Glide which young and old participated in with great enjoyment. Pauline Sims nee Bird

The Johnson Family Of Hawkhurst Who Had The Blacksmiths
I just wondered if anyone remembers any of the Johnson family from Hawkhurst, Benjamin Johnson had the Blacksmiths which is now the Garage and Albert Charles Johnson also worked there. He moved to Cranbrook in later life to live with his daughter, Alice. There were a few other brother's and sisters too. Any information is welcomed From Laurella

Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
