Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Worse Years Of My Life

A Memory of Hayling Island.

I was here from 1957 to 1960 ,I have memories of getting chicken poxy and having my lovely dark curly hair shaved by Sister Vincent ,I remember Sister Mary Bosco Sister Ambrose ,I have a few photoesxx of my time ,I remember being pulled up by the hair when I had dropped something ,I remember quing up down in the cellar waiting for my visitors each month ,I remember getting so poorly in the end that I went back to the hospital in London taken by Sister Vincent and her saying to me we haven't been that bad to you have we ,I remember having day beds out in the playground each day for a rest ,I remember going to the beach and wearing the most scratches towel robes ,I remember the easter egg each year , I remember putting on pantomimes each Christmas, I remember being to scared to say anything about anything ,these were not good times for me ,My name is Lesley Skinner I was Lesley King ,a small dark haired girl from the east end of London ,I do have a group photo and several others maybe I can put them up .
