Smiths Crisps

A Memory of Horsham St Faith.

My sister and I would be given 3p and it was a treat to run down the hill to the shop and buy a packet of Smiths Crisps with the little blue salt bag, happy days. My Nanny lived at this end of Back Street in Abbey Road.

My grandparents (Mary and Harry Bacon) lived in Abbey Close. They used to live in a cottage opposite the church. Living in an industrial city (Leeds) I spent my summers with them in the 50's and 60's. I live in Canada now, but I'll always remember St. Faiths.
