Grange Park Kingsgate School

I lived at 37palmerston rd with my mum sister and grand parents Tom and lily kauder my uncle Charlie lived at 36 and my aunt Ada lived at 38. I can remember you and your 2 sister and singing on the stage at grange park happy days

Incredible! I remember you well Steve, and your sister! We used to play in your back garden all the time. I remember your grandparents taking us all out for a day in the countryside and I felt I was in heaven, my first time in the country. When you both moved house I was heartbroken, so your lovely grandparents took me down on a train for the day to visit you in your new house. I can't remember your sister's name but I remember jumping up and down on her new bed until your mum sent us out to play. Very fond memories of uncle Charlie too ! What a lovely man. We used to climb through his garden window to play with the ornaments he had on the mantlepiece. At the time he was living with a lady from Canada, so lovely. Sometimes Charlie's daughter from his first marriage used to come and visit too. I stayed with uncle Charlie and his girlfriend for 3 weeks once, when my mum was in hospital and they spoilt me rotten. I never knew you were all relatives. So many lovely memories of you all during what was a very difficult time for us O'neills. I wonder why mum never stayed in touch with you all, or maybe she did ? I know mum stayed in touch with Gordon, who lived on the 2nd floor until he went back to live in Portugal. Living in Palmerston road was like living in one big extended family.
