Warmsworth To Sally Goozer
A Memory of Levitt Hagg.
Hi I am Stuart Lindsay, my parents moved into the first council house on Tenter Lane no. 38 in 1950 and I was born in 1951. Sally Goozer was a favourite haunt for me and my late cousin Anthony Basham who lived in Cliff Crescent. I remember Charles Day, Barrington Cornthwaite, Janet Hinchliffe, David Gill, Susan Swaby, Peter Tuffrey, Alan and Keith Machin, the Gray twins Alan and Brian, Eddie Martin,, George Herbert and Sandra Bicknell. I left Tenter Lane after marrying in 1975 and now enjoying my life at 72 years old. Loved reading your memories of a crime free, safe, childhood exploring Levitt Hagg and Sprotborough.
