Helen Of Troy
A Memory of Limpsfield.
I attended St. Michael's School in the 1960's and have a vivid memory of a play that we performed on the grounds one year. Our parents were invited to the performance of "Helen of Troy"..... I had the part of Helen....a non- speaking part! I remember my father in the front row snoring loudly during my entrance to the stage and couldn't contain my giggles! It was during the years that Miss Callister was the headmistress and Miss Bateman, the music teacher, was my favourite teacher, but I feared Miss Scatchard, the math teacher!
