Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

My Late Husbaand
Hi, does anyone in St Cleer have any fond memories of my late husband, Arthur Mitchell? He was raised in Rose Cottage and he is buried in the chapel in St Cleer with his late parents, Alice and Len. Arthur was driving for Darley Ford coaches when I met him in 1982. I would love to hear from anyone. Regards Sue

Higher Lux St Coronation Party
I lived in Higher Lux Street, attended Liskeard Secondary modern school and was a choir boy at St Martins parish church. Mr Andrews was not only the Headmaster but also the "choir master". When my voice started to break I left the choir and became a bell ringer. My best memory from those days was the coronation party 1953 held in spare ground half way up Higher Lux street. I have a photo of the occasion and hopefully I will be able to add it to this site. Regards Tony

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
