Memory Of Maidstone Zoo

A Memory of Maidstone.

I visited Maidstone Zoo as a child and I think it was during the 2nd world war. I remember the railway track along the side of the driveway but no trains were running. My most vivid memory, and I have never been sure if this is real or remembered from somewhere else and it is of standing on a bridge over a railway line and seeing a train loaded with what looked like bombs. Does anybody know if this could have been in the zoo? Or maybe close by, we went by coach from Sussex.
I would love to know if my memory is real!
