More about this scene
Mosley Street was named in honour of Sir Nicholas Mosley, a former Lord of the Manor of Manchester. The other fine buildings along the street include the Portico Library and St Peter's Church. The art gallery was one of the first supporters of the local artist L S Lowry, and has a wonderful collection of his work.
