Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Elliots Hotel became the Bullers Arms before taking the name it has today—The Mary Tavy Inn. Two miles north of Mary Tavy is Wheal Betsy, one of Dartmoor's most famous mines; in the middle of the 19th century it was producing over 1,000 tons of lead and 2,000 ounces of silver annually.

When i was 11 I started school at Tavistock, and met a lovely girl called Helen Desmond who became my best friend. Helen's family (sister Sandra and brother Jonathan) lived at the Bullers Arms and I used to stay there every weekend and during the holidays, until she had to go to a boarding school in 1973.
