Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Cumberland Cavern
A Memory of Matlock Bath.
I remember the cabin at the entrance to to show cave with a stag's head over the door. I used to cut candles in half for the guide and put them in candle holders for the tourists. Sometimes I would go down to Jacobs well at the bottom of the cave and wait for the tourists to come down and give them half a candle to get back out with. I used to get a bottle of ice-cream soda and a packet of smiths crips as payment. I visit the underground parts of the cave via Wapping mine a couple of times a year, a nice nostalgic trip. Brilliant site you have.
