Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Woolmongers Farm, Nine Ashes, Nr Blackmore, Essex

A Memory of Nine Ashes.

Is there anyone out there who remember a farm called Woolmongers Farm at Nine Ashes. It was built over by a new estate at sometime. Anyone remember it and if so do you have any memories of it or he Chalkley family who lived in it?

Yes Woolmongers Farm was actually in Woolmongers lane, and is still standing, and nicely renovated too.

Yes I was a Chalkley who lived at Woomongers Farm, Woolmongers Lane, Blackmore, Essex, until we moved in 1951. I've visited the lane a few times over the years and Woolmongers Farm was almost unrecognisable apart from the large brick chimney on the end of the house. It has been tastefully renovated and modernised and looks stunning.
