I remember Shaftsbury Crescent very well, we lived in Princes Street, but had many friends in the area. I remember Valerie Longdon, also the Cholertons who lived near the Baseball Hotel at the bottom of Shaftsbury Crescent. My friend June Davies, lived in Rutland Street at no 60.
