Seaview In The 1980s
A Memory of Seaview.
I moved to Seaview in 1983 from Kent, the magical feeling Seaview had and the few minutes walk from our house to Seagrove Bay was wonderful. I worked for the Flamingo Park for a short time and then at the Seaview Hotel where I was the Receptionist. I didn't know how lucky I was as we later moved back to the mainland, and although we live in Lymington it is not a patch on the Isle of Wight. I often visit and have pangs of homesickness to return wondering why I ever left. I will definitely move back.
