Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

My gt grandmother, Eliza Catherine Bevans, and her family were guests in the hotel in 1891. Their father was the divisional carpenter at the coast guard there. They show in the same census page as the lady mentioned in the post above/
My Great Grand Aunt Sarah Holgate, née Barnes, came here with her husband Benjamin in the 1870s to run the hotel (from Manchester). Benjamin died in 1877 and Sarah stayed in charge until sometime in the 1890s because in the 1901 census she is retired in Newquay.
