Farming At Stanwell Moor

I lived at Hithermoor Farm,Stanwell Moor from birth in 1951 until 1973.We farmed part of the Reservoirs and a large chunk of Greenhams Gravel Pit land. Happy Memories

My goodness, some of the articles brought back so many good memories. I lived at Riverside Place and went to Lord Knyvitts School around 1957. The milk that iced up in the morning at school and the newspaper I was required to tear up for toilet paper, who knows how the toilets didn’t block up especially in winter when the water in the bowl iced up.
