watched this school being built and was one of the first to go there MR MUSGRAVE was headmaster shame to see it demolished years later was a lovely school with good teachers especially MR RANSTEAD the music teacher who had set up a brass band in the old school in MARLOW ROAD

I have many memories of visiting Stokenchurch, it was where my gran and Gramp lived. George and Lottie west of jubilee road. So Saturdays were spent visiting family, uncle riddles (Len West), uncle Stan And auntie Wendy West then it would be onto jubilee road . After that it would be around to auntie Ethel and uncle Eric Cufflin. Then we would finish at aunty Doll and uncle Arthur Saint . Many of their family still live in the area. My mum was Gladys

This is how long it is since I lived in Stokenchurch at "Rushmoor", Marlow Road. I left because my father was posted to Germany. My main memory is of a boy being sent to the Karenza cafe to get 6d worth of rubber rivets by a roustabout from the fair setting up on the Green.

My father, Edward Gray, attended this school and then worked in Andersons. My grandmother, Annie Gray, lived in Jubilee Road and then in one of the bungalows in Marlow Road. My auntie, Gladys Poyser, lived in Elizabeth Road. Dad wants to know if anyone who went to school with him is still living there?
