Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Happy Days

A Memory of Sutton.

Many happy years in Sutton, especially in Sutton swimming baths, when my dad used to
cycle with me on the crossbar of his bike, from Beauchamp Rd. He taught me to swim when I was about 8, that's when they had diving boards. The days before 'health n safety'. The pool attendant was a bloke who wore a white jacket, and always wore wellies. If he spotted us boys near the girls cubicles "seperate sides for boys " he would shout, blow his refs type whistle, and wave us away, We called him Macy; and when he went out of sight, we would bomb jumping from the top board... which was not allowed. When the season started, we would queue outside using a halfpenny to score holes in the soft red brickwork...typical boys. Happy days

Hi David, I think we have corresponded before a few years back, i lived in Beuchamp Road number 51, i used to play with the Bateson twins, John Grey, John Baty and John and Janet leigh who lived at the top on the right on the corner house before the alley way, wonderful memories of growing up there,

I also lived on Beauchamp Road (53) Used Sutton Baths a great deal as i swam for the Dolphin club and Sutton and Cheam. My grand parents own the fish and chip shop on Collingwood Road until my aunt took it over she lived in number 51 until she passed away. Went to all the Sutton West schools until 1963, have been living back in Canada (I was born here War Bride) since 1970 live partly here in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and in Whistler BC. Have been bad to Sutton a number of times not the same we remembered it.
