Swindon, The Civic Offices, Euclid Street 1948

More about this scene
Here we have a picturesque view through the trees towards the Civic Offices in Euclid Street. The offices have suffered the same fate as the Town Hall - they have become too small for the intended council work with the massive expansion of Swindon. The building is still used for council meetings and select committees, and is also now licensed for marriages to take place in the council chamber.
